 Stock Market to Remain Closed on March 3 for Holi; Trading Resumes March 4

 March 2, 2026: Indian stock exchanges will remain closed on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in observance of the festival of Holi. The holiday has been officially announced by the (NSE), (BSE), and the (MCX).

Trading Segments Affected

According to the official holiday calendar released by the exchanges, there will be no trading activity in the following segments:

Both morning and evening sessions on MCX will remain suspended for the day due to the Holi holiday.

Markets to Reopen on March 4

Normal trading across all segments will resume on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, as per regular market hours.

Advisory for Investors

Market participants, including investors and traders, are advised to plan their transactions accordingly. Orders and settlements will follow the revised schedule as per exchange guidelines.
